Q. How do I contact you after hours?

There is always a Redlands Family Practice Physician on call when the office is closed. Please call the office at (909) 793-3208. You will be instructed to leave a brief message to include your name, your contact information and a brief description of the problem. The physician on call will be notified, retrieve your message, and contact you with instructions. It is very important that you provide detailed contact information.

In case of an emergency, call 911 and seek immediate emergency care.

Routine questions: Please call us during office hours for routine questions, prescription refills, and appointment scheduling.

Q. What will I need for my first visit?

If you have been under the care of another physician we request that you authorize them to forward copies of your medical records to your physician at Redlands Family Practice.

Please arrive approximately 10 to 15 minutes early for your first appointment to complete the necessary patient registration and history forms. These forms are also available for printing from the Forms area shown on the right, so that they can be completed at your leisure prior to your appointment.

We take the privacy of your medical information very seriously and will also ask you to acknowledge that you are aware of our privacy practices (see Forms.)

 Please bring a list of all medicines you are currently taking.

 Your current insurance card.

 If your coverage requires a copyment, it is expected at the time of service.

Q. What if I need a refill on my prescriptions?

If you are an established patient: Notify your pharmacy at least 3 days prior to your last dose of your medication and request a refill. The pharmacy will contact Redlands Family Physicians through an electronic message or by electronic fax. Your physician will review the request and the approval will be transmitted back to the pharmacy. If the physician determines that further evaluation of your condition, or if any changes are required, the professional staff at Redlands Family Practice will contact you to arrange an appointment or to provide you necessary instructions. All prescription refills require physician review and approval.

If you are a new patient and you are running low on a prescription ordered by another physician, you will need to schedule an appointment with us to establish a care plan.
